Parents Behaving Bady originally posted about the Griffins last December. Five months later, an autopsy has been done, the parents are still in jail, and their kids are in foster care.
However, John’s defense attorneys have asked to lower his bail. And now investigators believe that they abused another one of their children. Here’s the update:

In Nebraska, Christopher Mathes Klein, 2o, gave his girlfriend’s seven-week-old daughter, Caitlynne Bohlen, a pacifier. Then he wrapped her face tightly with a blanket and squished her against the side of her bassinet with a pillow. The baby was found not to be breathing and was taken to the hospital by paramedics. The voices in the head of a 23-year-old woman told her to strip her three small children naked and throw them off a San Francisco fishing pier into the bay. Or at least that’s what the authorities say.
I myself believe the voices were really one voice: that of bystander Christina Todd, who told reporters, […]

A couple who were sleeping off a heroin and cocaine binge also slept through the deaths of their two toddlers. On July 29, the children, nearly three-year-old Elijaha Santana and 20-month-old David Maldonado Jr. “were scalded to death, trapped for more than two hours in a steamy bathroom with the water running so hot […]
