Ovaltine, cheese and vodka

4-year-old left home alone while drunk mom returns to day care:

33-year-old Checkie Hessel went to daycare to pick up her 4-year-old daughter. The problem is that she had already picked up her daughter. Well, that and the fact that she was blind stinking drunk after drinking a 1/2 pint of vodka. She told police that she must have blacked out and forgot that her daughter was home. Police found her daughter at home dirty but unharmed and eating cheese and Ovaltine powder.

Hessell was arrested Wednesday afternoon. So not only was she fully in the bag during the middle of the day she was driving on top of it. At least she didn’t have her daughter in the car.
