Diane Marsh Kills Five-Year-Old Autistic Son, Brandon Williams, with Overdose of Cold Medicine
In Tucson, Arizona, Diane Marsh, 39, is charged with first degree murder for the death of her five-year-old autistic son, Brandon Williams. Diane Marsh admitting to giving Brandon 12 Tylenol PM pills, and disciplining the boy by immersing his feet in scalding water. Brandon also had marks on his wrists and ankles from being tied up, and had blisters on his feet and was bleeding.
Two of Marsh’s friends, Flower Tompson, 27 and Mark Moss, 47 are facing charges of child abuse and failure to report. The other adults knew what was going on - one was participating in the abuse (Tompson) and the other (Moss) knew what was going on and failed to report it.
Child Protective Services investigated reports of abuse at Brandon’s home but did not remove him even though his two brothers, ages 17 and 15,who
were removed from their mother’s custody after the older son, had physically assaulted Brandon. Two years ago, Brandon’s father was charged with choking the younger of Marsh’s two other sons and pleaded guilty to one count of felony child abuse.
What a model family…not!

You know it slays me how these a**holes will probably claim being under stress and that they never meant to harm the child. I would have to say that poor baby was under alot more stress with being beaten by everyone that came into contact with him. May his soul rest in peace and God hold that child close.

Are those people wearing sheets in their mug shots?
I hope these losers get put away for a very long time. Kids with autism have a very frustrating life as it is without being tortured by so called “loved ones”. Poor little guy.

DP, those mug shots and sheets bothered me. I would like to know why.
And they should be shot. Period. Why waste taxpayer money on a trial for these bastards?

I know you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but those monsters look doggone creepy and outright scary to a kid, I’m sure.Lousy mother fu****s. I’ve worked extemsively in the past with autistic kids and DP has it right–their lives are VERY frustrating because most of them can understand everything of what’s going on and being said around them, it’s just that their senses are on overload and it’s too much info for them to compute so them kind of tune out at times. Many are now being discovered as knowing how to read and write through “facilitated communication”-I’ve seen it and anyone who knows an autistic person that’s never spoken and then to see them type complete sentences on a computer-it’s incredible. It seems sometimes with these kids that are killed that they were put on earth just to suffer and die.Poor Brandon first with autism as well as horrible abuse, then an overdose.

What is with the grey sheets they are wearing… it’s strange. Never seen a mug shot like that before.

Having an autistic child, I am shaking all over. I could never imagine, someone, anyone ever hurting him. Granted there are over two hundred degrees of autisim in the specturm, but my god. Why didn’t they call Toros? It is a professionally run on call service, to help take care of special needs children, in the Phoenix area.

Funny how you don’t need to be a Nazi to think seriously about forced sterilization anymore.

My son has behaviors that fall within the “autism spectrum” and he has an extraordinarily high IQ. He is mainstreamed in private school. He does present challenging behaviors, but as Sandy mentioned, there are many fee-free agencies that help adults learn to parent these children. It just sickens me! The should all be shot.

Endersdragon: I just looked at that link, and I am disgusted and outraged at the overwhelming failure of the courts to provide anything close to justice in most of those cases. 6 years and $210?! Give me a break - pathetic doesnt begin to describe it. It pains me to think this group of slimebags might get away with what is basically a slap on the wrist. There is no justification for letting them off easily, and I hope the prosecutor and courts don’t. I wonder if there’s some way to get a flood of people contacting the DA and the press in the place where this murder took place, letting them know that the public will not stand for a light sentence or BS excuses, and forcing them to do the right thing. The mother and her friend are sadistic pieces of trash, and they need to pay.

I’m so sick of seeing time and time again, CPS wasting their time on false allegations. Harassing good parents who work hard to provide for their children, nourish and love them. While their are others out their who are literally being burned, beaten, starved and tortured TO DEATH! When are they going to get it together? Especially when all the signs are their and noticed by educated officals such as those in the police dept. and schools. How many children are suffering at this very moment and NO ONE wants or will get involved ENOUGH to help them?

poor children. this is the type of thing which makes me so sad.I cant undestand how anyone could do this to a baby.and how can they leave one behind>What if it happens again, clearly these people are monsters, and have no feelings about anything. its so sad, cause the only one who suffers is the children
