Russian woman can’t evict, instead orders ‘Hit’ on son

by joelnet on March 20th, 2007

A shortage of housing has been a pretty big problem in Russia for some time now. Apparently it has become one enormous problem for this woman. So enormous that she decided to have her son killed.

Unable to evict her son and his recently pregnant girlfriend, she decided having a dead son would solve her problems.

She was willing to pay a total of 3,000 roubles (about $115 USD) for the job but was arrested by police when she handed over the 900 rouble “completion” payment. I wasn’t aware ‘hits’ were so cheap; I guess the deal was too good to be true.

In the end, it looks like her housing problems will be solved, she will be moving into a nice cell and most-likely her son will be taking over the cramped apartment.

I wish him and his new baby the best. Hopefully he never asks why grandma is in jail.

    “I wasn’t aware ‘hits’ were so cheap…”
That comment is so ignrant of you.. plwase keep in mind that that amount of money is a lot for the normal russian, at least those in the countryside.

Not every country is well off like the U.S.

That said; it sre is a horrible thing to do.

PC is short for Politically Correct. It has to do with trying hard not to insult anyone. I don’t think you were being to PC.
