Mary Jean Armstrong Prostitutes 8-year-old Daughter to Richard Lapham in Exchange for Drugs
When CharmingBitch - who’s never at loss for words - was bowled over by this story, I had to check it out. Seems that Mary Jean Armstrong, 38, of Beverly, Mass. prostituted her young daughter for more than a year in exchange for drugs. She’s been sentenced to 15 to 18 years in state prison.
She was charged with seven counts of child rape and indecent assault and battery. While she didn’t commit the acts herself, she enabled the molester, Richard Lapham to do so. She was also charged with two counts of inducing a minor into prostitution, four counts of child endangerment, and two counts of posing a child in the nude.
The case came to light after Jill Pena-Contreras visited Lapham. The sick fuck showed her photos of himself and the little girl engaging in sex acts. He then boasted that he gave the girl’s mother crack cocaine in exchange for letting him molest her daughter.
Then Pena-Contreras did an extremely brave thing. Even though she was horrified and scared of Lapham, she returned to his apartment and stole the pictures. She then brought them to police and exposed the worse case of child abuse they had ever seen in the Salem, Mass. area.
When police went to search Lapham’s apartment, they found the girl naked under a blanket, and Lapham dressed in his underwear. They were watching a porn video, while Armstrong was in a bedroom with her 12-year-old autistic son, high on cocaine and painkillers.
The girl told police that Lapham had undressed her and made her touch him. Later Armstrong admitted that it happened as many as 50 times during a 16-month period, sometimes in Lapham’s apartment and sometimes at her place.
It doesn’t stop there. Another man, Patrick Doyle, is spending a year in prison because he was present while Lapham raped the girl, and did nothing to stop it. In fact, Doyle had threatened Pena-Contreras when he learned she had gone to the police. Nice bunch of folks.
Lapham is now serving a 15 to 18 year prison term after he pleaded guilty. The little girl and her brother have been adopted by a new family. The girl is slowly beginning to understand what happened, but is damaged for life by these sick, evil people. All we can hope is that her new family gives her the love and therapy that she desperately needs.

Sometimes I don’t feel that the “Badly” in the title of this blog is strong enough. I mean, parents behaving badly is like when I lose my temper for no real great reason and yell and stomp and act like a jerk in front of my kid. This story, and most of the others you publish, is really more like “Parents Behaving like Sick, Evil Fucks” or “Parents who belong in the innermost circle of Hell, right there at Satan’s feet.”

Yes, I agree with you! This blog makes one think that a normal childhood is more the exception than the norm. What types of parenting skills are these kids going to take into the world? The ones that live, anyway.

I have to admit it sickens me to know that this little girl will never ever trust another adult fully. Even with therapy and future couseling she will have a messed up view of the world. Whats worse is that the mother will more than likely get probabtion after 5 years. Why dont we be honest…these “people”, always manage to get out on good behavior.

Very disgusting… I wish I could just like kick her butt and have her raped like that for that long (prolly longer) and see how she feels.. and id make sure she was on drugs so she could have the full effect..

A huge shout out to Pena-Contreras for turning this sick f*** in. It just makes you wonder who else knew about it, but was too scared and didn’t have the balls to turn them in. I hope that these people get what they deserve in prison. I know what they deserve, but its not very Christ-like of me to say.

If she was so addicted to drugs, why didn’t she do like all the other crackheads and sell her own ass? Shee looks like a lazy bitch, so I guess it doesn’t surprise me. It is so horrbile that a person would do this to their child. For goodness sakes she was only 8 years old!!! Has anyone looked at an 8 year old lately? That sick bastard got away with this for a whole YEAR!!
I’m glad someone turned them in. Who knows how much longer this would have gone on. It makes me want to vomit.
I hope that nasty bitch of a mother is learning a good lesson in prison. And I hope that sick pedophile is getting his too. whatever it is, it isn’t enough. There can never be enough justice for this little girl. Death is too good for them.

Doyle is part of a well-known Salem family. His uncle is retired Salem District Court Judge David T. Doyle, a former top worker in Blodgett’s campaign for district attorney. Doyle family members could not be reached.
The victim’s mother, [Mary Jean Armstrong], told investigators that in a separate incident, Doyle disrobed and smoked crack while a home video of the girl being raped was played on TV. Armstrong claimed that Doyle took pictures of the girl being raped, the basis for a child pornography charge that would have required Doyle to register as a sex offender. With Armstrong the sole witness, that charge was dropped.

This lady Mary Jean was never that child’s MOTHER, because no mother would EVER EVER subject their child to being molested and raped repeatedly the way she did. I don’t care if she did drugs or not, I’ve known drug addicted moms and while they were clearly never gonna be nominated for Mother of the Year-they would NEVER even think about making their child be some sick perverts play thing for a damn hit.

Wow!!!! I feel like I have soooooooo much to say about this!!!!! Yet the only thing i can get out is Wow!!!!!!!! I can’t believe that a parent would put their child in this harmful situation knowingly!!!!!! If there was ever a case for forcing a parent to have their tubes tied this would be it!!! What kind of sub-human, sewer shit, waste of space could 1st of all, take part in the violation of THEE MOST PRECIOUS, innocent, blessing known to mankind, our babies. This story hurts my heart and soul. And I pray for thos children. I literally wept for this little girl who’s been robbed of her innocence. I have to believe she is on this earth for a special purpose. I also believe, just as there is God-ness, I believe the D-evil is alive, working overtime. He has workers working overtime. And I’m not a religious person, but I am a spiritual person and smart enough to know that there is something beyond us all. And everyone will have to answer to their own higher power one fine day.

I Was just in jail with mary…she has absolutely no remorse for what she did to that poor little girl. She will smile and laugh about it.Ever Since she got sentanced she has been in the closed custody unit (PC).Alot of people have been waiting for her to become Legal Inmate, not just a detainee.She will get hers eventually.

i knew the sick fuck who raped that little girl. i met him in 96 and was seeing him for a a couple months. he seemed like a real good guy, had a good job, nice friends, and a good family, but i had a gut feeling about him, and i dont know why, but i didn’t trust him so i broke off with him.

This is so disgusting and I can’t believe that it happened so close to home. I live about a stone’s throw from the house where these dispicable acts took place. Of course everyone in the neighborhood was talking about it, and expressing how sad they felt. Not only for the children but also for the families of these horrible people who now have to live with this disgrace. It saddened so many people. I still cry when I think about it. How can people be so disgusting? I am usually one who believes that no person is beyond forgiveness…. but I don’t know about this one. I hope they all rot.
I knew Richard Lapham in the 90’s (early 90’s, he used to date a friend of mine). I was never that close to him, didn’t really like him that much to be honest. He drank too much and I never liked how he treated my friend. I also remember Mary, vaguely. We went to the same middle school and I remember kids badly picking on her. Pat Doyle is a scum bag and should have been sentenced to much more time. The year that he received is not nearly enough when you consider that he did nothing while a little girl was crying in the bed beside him while being raped. It seems to me that the laws that we have are not protecting our children and I would strongly be in favor of new laws that make any sexual act against a child a mandatory 5-10 year jail sentence. The fact that Pat Doyle and the other scum bag involved, Robert L’Italien, don’t even have to register as sex offenders in the state of Mass is just ridiculous. I for one would like to know where they live.

This case has absolutely plagued me since I found out about it. I have a seven month old baby and the idea that anyone would hurt her pains me enough. The fact that the one person in her life that was supposed to protect her violated her in this way is so disturbing. I live in Salem and, so help me, if I EVER run into that scumbag Patrick Doyle I will murder him with my own hands. How dare he threaten the ONE person who took a stand against this depravity and turned in those pictures? Was he hoping to get away with another year of torturing this girl while he smoked daddy’s money away? I am not a person who believes in hate, but I HATE these people for what they have done to this girl. I hope they all rot in hell. The idea that the “mother” is not remorseful for this tragedy makes me want pound a hammer into her face. Really? You’re not remorseful? I went to the High School with both of these men. I remember Ricky … walked the halls with the most arogant attitude. He was rude and obnoxious and a drunk. I knew he was garbage but this is beyond that … its so much lower … licentiousness depraver. Does that work??? His family is mortified. Poor folks… Patrick Doyle could have gotten as little time as he did because I believe a judge is a member of his family. Not saying that’s the case … just raising the thought …. I’m off to get sick … again.
