Parents Behaving Badly

Update #2: Father Poisoned Daughter with Sippy Cup

by joelnet on March 2nd, 2007

We previously posted an update about Minh Phu Le and his failed suicide attempt.

PBB Tipper, Chloe, has informed me his most recent attempt has been successful.

Minh Phu Le has taken the cowards way out and killed himself. He was found by a prison guard, in bed, with a plastic bag tied over his head.

Part of me wanted to see him tried, though part of me is just glad he’s gone.

suicide is not a cowardly act.

so I object to this labelling.

    it’s proof of psychotic rage.

did no one in charge assess Minh Phu Le for being depressed, because his behavior points to it?

Vietnamese people have higher incidence of depression, but usually done seek help because of stigma.

we need more details of this man’s life before calling him coward.

YES suicide is cowardly!!!OMG I do not care if he is white, black, purple or green!
We need no details, he killed his daughter!
    What detail is needed??
Depressed??? Cry me a freakin river …
I m going to guess people who loved that child may be bit “depressed” now too.
What an asshole…glad he is dead tooo bad he took his daughter with him.

Victim of depression, cowardly,- who the #### cares-he’s dead, and good riddance. He was a vile POS, and now we, the taxpayers, are not going to have to pay for his room, board, and medical care for umpteen decades. Good.
I just hope that he has to face his victim in the afterlife, and is held accountable for his evil act. By Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, or whoever-this guy has some serious bad karma coming his way. Death should not be an escape from justice.

Right now, the soul of this man is undergoing the usual in Purgatory as it awaits judgment.

No, it won’t go to hell. That trial happened on earth during his life.

No, it won’t go to heaven. That tribulation might have happened too, while alive.

Basically, God will reclaim what he loaned to the man called Minh Phu Le and add it to the record.

And let’s not blame the Devil for this man’s evil. He alone is responsible for his own evil.

This even includes his suicide. His death pretty much was eye-for-eye. The slate is wiped clean.

Let’s not wish his soul such needless torture. It’d be disrespectful of God.

After all, one’s soul is ALWAYS God’s; what we do to it in life is in one’s own hands.

Minh Phu Le chose to squander his life foolishly.

It’s not his soul’s fault; his actions occulted his view of reality.

His suicide is evidence of this.

Sure, we are angry he supposedly escape punishment. Yet death frees the soul to be redeemed by God.

Phu Le did not escape punishment.

    He only escaped hell.

Let him and his son rest. Please stop disrespecting the dead.

You say this like its a bad thing. Its too bad he didn’t kill himself before he killed the child.

There are alot of different reasons to kill oneself, I hope for his sake he finally came to comprehend what he did and killed himself out of grief, but sadly I doubt that.

Stephen, how can you defend this animal? He killed a baby- his own child.
