Lemuel and Julia Redd: Sorry About That Whole “Kidnapping” Thing
No time for a bigger post right now. Thanks for everybody who’s been sending tips; I’ll get to them as time warrants. Meanwhile, remember the case of the Utah parents who kidnapped their daughter to prevent her from getting married? Lemuel and Julia Redd appeared on Good Morning America today and said “sorry” for abducting their daughter on the day of her wedding. Attorneys are working on a plea deal as we speak. Frankly, I think this was all just an elaborate plan by the Redds to avoid buying their daughter a wedding gift. They’re not dangerous criminals - they’re just cheap! But seriously, I doubt these people are menaces to society. Let’s just give ‘em two years probation and call it a deal, ‘k?

My heart goes out to these people. NO, they most certainly are not criminals. They are simply guilty of actually loving their daughter. Is that so hard for Perry Myers to understand? HE is the true kidnapper. HE knows it, and HE knows the Redds know it, and HE feels guilty and cannot face the Redds anymore and therefore wants them thrown in jail. As for Julianna? What an immature, selfish, selfish human being. She is the one who deperately needs psychological counseling. What a nasty, hateful daughter to have given birth to. In my opinion the Judge is doing the Redds a favor by ordering them not to see Julianna anymore. That, is the best thing for the Redds. In time, they will see this too. They cannot do anything any more for Julianna. She is and has been brain washed by Myers. HE is the control freak. I hope you never open your eyes Julianna and see what you’ve done because you would not be safe.

my guess is their daughter wasn’t getting married in the mormon temple.
