  Leanne, it appears you have not yet read the web-article from the Florida newspaper that states Josh has violated a court order regarding the Duckett case, as well as Josh refusing to complete the court-ordered program he was assigned to complete. There is another article I read that also stated that Josh has squandered much of the contributions given by the public for the purpose of assisting in locating Trenton, not for Josh to buy a motorcycle, new stereo, and to buy more items the money was not intended to be used for. Look it up, you will be shocked at the conduct of that sleaze-bag sorry-ass excuse of a “father.” Also, the Eubanks are immune of your inadequate criticisms. Because the Eubanks provided the necessary element of treatment-availability for Melinda and Josh. They are legally harmless from such false allegations.

Since it is not positively known what she did to Trenton, we don’t know if he is alive or dead. If she killed him, is that good parenting?

  Dear Bonnie, the article I indicated is only one article of several about the violations of one particular court order that Josh violated. Other newspaper-sites have other violations by Josh, including an alledged inventory of some of the purchases Josh was video-taped by store security cameras purchasing in the days after the disappearance of Trenton. As far as Melinda being a great parent as you claim, there are both positive and negative points about her parenting skills. No one except Nancy Grace believes Melinda killed Trenton (no one informed to the true facts of the case). Even the police have stated that Melinda likely handed off Trenton to someone she knew. Which, by the way if that is accurate, would be the best parenting decision Melinda ever did in her short lifetime. To keep Trenton away from that dumb-ass father of his is the best option any parent could have ever done. Sounds like you still remain deficiet of many of the facts about the Duckett case, Bonnie. Try doing a SEARCH on the topic to become better informed. Good luck.

  If Melinda handed off Trenton, which may have been a good deicision, I don’t know, but it was not legal.

  You seem very personally involved here, since you want to attack other people rather than hear their opinions. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Don’t make such judgements as you have. I have personally read alot on this case and posted about it on my blog. No need to tell me to do any research. My opinions are my own. You are not going to change them.

  Also, I seriously doubt that Nancy Grace is the only one who believes Melinda killed Trenton. I have been to many message boards and had comments on my blog that state otherwise.

  Dear uninformed Bonnie: I have never attacked anyone. What you perceive as your short-comings on your knowledge of the Duckett case is something you alone are fully responsible for. No one else. To acknowledge information you have not yet discovered or confirmed yet is not an “attack” as you claim. I am certain your pc has a search-function. Use it to fill in the gaps you display in this case. If you need more help, just ask. I am sure someone may be willing to spoon-feed you so more. Good luck. As far as Melinda possibly handing Trenton off to someone she knew, and if that did indeed was illegal as you claim, then Melinda (her estate) should get an Award for the Best-Parent-of-Trenton-of-the-Two to protect Trenton from that worthless idiot of a father Josh. Hopefully Trenton is safe with someone Melinda arranged ahead of time. And, that would be a fresh clean start and whole new set of positive prospects to isolate Trenton away from that trash-dad. Maybe Nancy Grace should not have been a contributing factor in Melinda’s death. If that were the case, we might know by now that Trenton is safe.

  I don’t know Josh, and he may or may not be a good father. It does appear from court records that he was under a lot of stress even before Trenton’s disappearance. But as far as I can determine he is not accused of *disappearing* anyone.
  If he was that bad a person, that bad a parent…then Melinda should have been pretty confident that she would win the custody case and would not have needed to *disappear* Trenton. But she wasn’t confident was she? She *disappeared* Trenton. Then when accused of killing him, she killed herself. People don’t usually do that unless they suffer from guilt feelings.
  She must have either felt guilty about killing him, or felt guilty about making him disappear and worried about slipping and telling where he was.
  If you want to clear Melinda’s name that she did not kill Trenton, then give up any info you have about his possible whereabouts. If he is produced alive, then you can “clear” her name, at least about the possible murder.

  Let me get this straight. If Melinda gave her child away to some mystery person it would make her a good mom? I don’t care if her Dad is Hitler you don’t do that. If Trenton is alive and with a new family he is doing so without any legal papers. No birth certificate. No adoption papers. He can’t legally be enrolled in school. He can’t get a social security card. What life is he going to have off the grid. And more importantly what type of person would want to have custody of a kid who’s picture was all over television and news? Who wouldn’t mind having the risk of the police crashing their home and arresting them on kidnapping? Melinda didn’t hand him over to some poor childless couple. If that was the case someone would have turned them in by now. Anyone who is still hanging on to Trenton after all of this is proabably some type of pedo or sicko. It would probably be better for him if he was dead.

  Some of the naiveté in the recent posts is just hilarious. There are far too many un-informed people in some recent posts to address them individually, because I will not waste that much time spoon-feeding so many people in need of that assistance. But, some of the points raised are just incredibly lax-in-judgment and reality. The funniest was the “no birth certificate, no adoption papers”. Do you realize how many millions of people get over that hump every single year? Millions have migrated from Mexico alone, and are enrolled in our public and private schools and have heath coverage for example. Millions! I have to stop laughing so hard, it’s starting to hurt. hehehehehehehe, just hilarious! And, these are the same types of people that are the true victims of unprofessional journalism, and unprofessional talk-show-heads. These people are simply too gullible and often lack in knowledge , reasoning, or abilities to research on their own to obtain verifications to the ultimate truth they remain so deficient of. Still, I wish them the best in becoming educated. Yet, they are amusing.

  Anyone who assisted MD or that is hiding Trenton out is guilty of felony kidnapping and deserving of the maximum penalty under the law.

  There is no rationalizing using an innocent child to control or inflict pain upon another. Or taking it upon yourself to judgementally decide on your own that another person is undeserving of knowing his natural child.

  What decent human would be a party to that? Stable people do not go underground with stolen kids and forged papers.

  Custody should be determined by a court.

I only relayed what has already been reported on the net regarding his conduct, his behaviors, his actions, and his violations of the Law that Josh has participated in thus far in the Duckett case. As far as if a person would be holding onto Trenton to protect Trenton from that scum-dad Josh, well, sometimes the best interest of the child is sometimes a better choice to proceed with even if it may violate some small rinkie-dink rule. Ask any parent, ask any informed and caring and responsible parent and they would agree with that concept. Since you obviously do not put the best interests of the child first, it is easy to see why you still ignore all the documented evidence thus far revealed of scum-bag Josh. Ignorance and denial of the facts does not change the actual situation. It only confirms your intolerance to protect young children.

  Trenton’s best interests need to come first. the farther away fom the scum-bag Josh, the better. ask any good parent if they would hold the best interests of the children first and foremost, any good parent would. No body kidnapped trenton that I am aware of. perhaps you can supply the name of that individual to the police to help them.

  at this point it is considered kidnapping. the police have requested that whomever has Trenton return him to his father. since your buddy melinda killed herself josh has full and complete custody of this baby. hence keeping this baby away from his father is kidnapping him. they may have never been involved in the initial “kidnapping”, but now they are holding trenton against the wishes of his custodial parent. they have ignored several request from LE to return this baby. they are kidnapping at this point

  Neither Melinda Duckett, nor you, nor me, nor any other “in on the case” and “in on all of the facts” individual has the right to judge Josh’s fitness as a parent. That is up to a court to determine.

  Decent, stable people do not committ criminal acts and go underground with stolen children and forged papers.
