Video: Dennis Potts a Suspect in His Ex-Girlfriend and Son’s Brutal Murder
Thanks to Steve for the heads up on the case of Dennis Potts of Bonita, California, now the prime suspect in the murders of his girlfriend Tori Vienneau and their son, Dean. Vienneau was beaten to death; poor Dean was found in his crib, hanged with a cord. The story is that Vienneau had planned to meet with Potts the night of the murder to tell him that she was suing him for child support. That’s one hell of a motive - and an all too common one.
Potts has NOT been arrested yet, so this is all speculation. Also, check out the video below from San Diego station KFMB. (No relation to KMFDM. At least, so far as I know.)

I read this and couldn’t believe how horrific this crime was. What was unbelievable was that this happened in SD and suspect and victims were former “Barons”. I myself grew up in Bonita and attended BVHS and its one of the easy-going, mellow places. The people are good there and community friendly. Its the type of place you would want your kids to grow up in. Its hard for me to believe something like this could happen so close to home. I’m praying for that poor mother and son and even though the killer doesn’t deserve a prayers…I’m praying for him too. Because to kill and murder two people esp. hanging a baby by a noose…the killer is going to face some real demons for what he’s done.

I am a close family friend of one of Tori’s best friends, and I think that this is something that SHOULD and WILL NOT go unpunished. Dennis is a coward, and a poor excuse of a man. He will face what he has done, and should be put to death when he is CONVICTED! May Tori and Dean rest in peace, and God be with her family and friends.

Whoever did this should get the death penalty and I hope that they do.
