Dad Hit-and-Runs “Deer” with Daughter in The Car
Talk about setting a bad example for a child at a young age. Joseph Clark of St. Johnsbury, Vermont was driving his Chevy when he spotted a deer in the road. The genius stopped and shined a light on the animal, to make sure that it was what he thought it was. Then, with his girlfriend and their four-month-old baby girl aboard, he sped up and ran the animal down.
Unfortunately for Einstein, the “deer” was a decoy set up by gaming officials as part of a crackdown on illegal hunting. The decoy flew 30 feet, and was so damaged that it’s been “decommissioned”. Even worse for Clark, game wardens were in hiding, watching the horror story unfold before their eyes. What a touching family moment. Now, when Clark’s daughter is a little older, he can tell her about the time he tried to run over Bambi’s mother. For now, he’ll have to cough up fines and possibly serve jail time for hunting with a Chevy without a permit.

Just further proof that no form of hunting in the United States can be called a sport, when all you want to do is kill something for the fun of it. Nothing more than grown men re-enacting all the times they put firecrackers up a bullfrog’s ass or kicked a cat because daddy didn’t love them. Pathetic.

Hunting is a sport… Real hunters do so legally and eat what they kill.
Like all things in life you have the bad apples and those that won’t follow the rules.
My husband has no interest in hunting, but we do have friends that hunt (LEGALLY) and they all take down only what they will eat over the season.
I don’t know what this moron was thinking as hitting it with a car make it unedible.
Road Kill doesn’t make for a good meal!

I was wondering what kind of idiot would stick a decoy in the middle of the road, and the question remains unanswered since the decoy was in a field alongside the road. Which does nothing to reduce the charge of aggravated assholery.
I love the fact that Mr. Clark told the cops he just wanted to “bump” the deer (for reasons and purposes unknown) with his Chevy Cavalier (off-road vehicle of choice for all serious big-game hunters).
Oooh — drop the parentheticals and you’ve got the makings of an old-skool tears-in-my-beer country song.
That’s two verses right there!
