Teresa Moses Charged with Torturing, Murdering Son in “Dungeon” Bedroom
Ugh. Hot tippers Monique and Joanne brought me news of this latest case of child imprisonment. It seems like we’ve been wading through a lot of these lately - from the case of Randall Piercy, who treated his son like a concentration camp prisoner, to the Egyptian couple who treated a young girl like their slave. But 23-year-old Teresa Moses of Richmond, California takes the fucking prize. She’s the motherfreaking BTK Murderer of the Bay Area compared to those other pikers. Moses’ case file crossed the desk of social services repeatedly in the past 18 months. Young Raijon Daniels was taken from her repeatedly during that time, but was ultimately always returned.
Poor Raijon won’t be taken from his mother any longer. He’s dead - the end of a long, suffering existence at the hands of Teresa Moses. Raijon reportedly died by swallowing household cleaner; whether he drank it himself (unlikely) or was force-fed it is still an open question. What’s apparent is that his mom took a page out of the Randall Piercy textbook and made her son a prisoner on whom she kept watch via closed-circuit camera. But unlike Piercy, who mostly neglected his kid, Moses tortured her son with ropes, chemicals, and duct tape. Moses has reportedly admitted that she poured pine cleaner on Raijon’s genitals to make him stop wetting himself - which the poor kid probably did out of stark naked terror. Officers were bowled over by the toxic scent of the cleaner that wafted out of the house; they found numerous empty bottles of the shit on the scene.
But hey - at least she cleaned him up real nice for school pictures, so that she had a nice snap for the family Christmas card. That’s what matters, right?
The article above leaves open the question: what about the boy’s father? The Contra Costa Times reports that dad Desmond Landers is grief-stricken, and angry that he didn’t know what was going on so that he could “step up”. Landers says that Moses played keep-away from him for years, preventing him from ever seeing his son regularly. Landers maintains that she even told him to stop sending child support, and told him that Raijon wasn’t his kid.
California’s CFS is claiming “confidentiality laws”, and is refusing to discuss details of the case. The rest of us call this the “Covering Your Ass” law. Given the number of times this kid tried to get away from his house, why didn’t CFS suspect that something was dreadfully wrong inside those four walls? Why did they never attempt to contact the dad? He had an alienated father who, from the sounds of it, would have loved to have had his child back in his life.
CFS officials will have to stop their self-protecting bullshit at some point and tell America why an agency tasked with protecting children kept sending Raijon Daniels back to be tortured.

During the boy’s tragic short life was he ever examined by a physician? Surely a doctor would have noticed the many wounds on his body and then notified the authorities.

Jean, check my follow-up on the main page. A physician in 2005 discovered that he had been sexually assaulted at least twice. What the hell happened to that report? Why didn’t CFS intervene?

Thank you, The Zero Boss. One would think when the physician examined him in 2005 he’d have noticed the cuts, bruises, etc. on the poor boy. I’d like to know what CFS has to say about why they didn’t intervene.

Someone asked me about the trust fund and wanted to know why the dead child would need a trust fund. Is it for funeral costs? I didn’t know how to answer it.

OK CALL me crazy! a DOCTOR saw this baby in 05 and stated the child had been sexually assualted TWO times and did nothing. How about stalling the mom! Uh we need to do blood work, he has TONS of wax in his ears and we have to lavage them! We lavage ears here and the patients sit with softener for atleast 5-10 minutes. That is surely enough time for the police to get there! THEY ALL FAILED THIS BABY! AND DAD IS A PISS POOR EXCUSE JUST LIKE HIS DEAR OLD MOM! POOR BABY! R.I.P

This sounds terribly familiar to the book “A Child Called It”. That boy lived to be a man and write his story of abuse at the hands of his mother. It’s so sad that no one involved in this case saved his life.

Just thought about my nephew and desided to see what I could read. First off, I would like to say Desmond Daniels is a lier! This is just as much his fault as it is hers. He was never involved in Raijon’s life. He’d told the family he had a DNA text and that Raijon was found not to be his years before. Desmond has so many children I can’t keep count. As this was goin on one of his children was in Reno being beat to death (literally), the boy can’t hear from taking so many blows to the head from his mothers boyfriend and Desmond has yet to left a finger for him. He is a dead beat ass and most of his children have no idea who he is. He should be in jail too.
