4-Year-Old Whose Father Regularly Beat Him Unconscious Dies
Hot tipper Molly sent along this disgusting story from San Bernadino, California whose first paragraph alone made me wanna puke up the breakfast I hadn’t eaten. And I quote: “A 4-year-old boy who died at a hospital Wednesday had a history of being beaten unconscious by his father while his mother stood by in silence, police said.A 4-year-old boy who died at a hospital Wednesday had a history of being beaten unconscious by his father while his mother stood by in silence, police said.”
Ugh. Ugh, ugh, and triple ugh.
The bastard father in this case is 27-year-old Harby Burden. The 21-year-old mother is named India Burden. What an ironic last name. “Burden” is obviously what both of these monsters thought of their 4-year-old son Ausbon, who was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
I’d like to know more about these two, particularly the mother. Was India Burden abused as well? Was it fear that kept her silent, and kept her trapped in a relationship with this scumbag? Or was it simple indifference that kept her standing by silently while her baby boy was beaten to death? I’m not seeking to make excuses for her; even if she were abused, she owed it to both her and her son to get the fuck out of that hellhouse and find someplace safe. No matter how you slice it, India Burden failed her son in the worst possible way.
As for Harby Burden…let’s just say that this is the kind of case that dissuades me from advocating for the abolition of the death penalty.

And let me guess. Someone will soon leave comments calling YOU a bastard and this parents “misunderstood”
I’m a HUGE fan of drawing and quartering. Actually, leave me alone with the two of them for an hour or so. I could make it worth someone’s while.

I’m sure someone will swing by and at least to defend India Burden. If anyone even ATTEMPTS to defend the father, they deserve to rot in the same cell as him.

My heart goes out to the women who are unfortunate enough to be abused by their partners, but my sympathy for them dries up when they condone the abuse of their children. Guess what? The moment you have children, you CAN’T be a victim anymore, you have to be responsible.

Thordora, what a ridiculous thing for you to say! That “father” is a BASTARD!!!!! Well, if you would defend the parents, then I’d defend Ausbon instead! Your ignorance for child abuse is definitely showing… 0_o
