Parents Behaving Badly Joins b5media

Now that the powers that be have asked if I can link to the weekly Family and Relationships Blog Carnival held by b5media, I suppose I best let the cat out of the bag: Parents Behaving Badly has joined b5media as part of the Family and Relationships channel.

Wow. Good thing that didn’t sound needlessly redundant.

So why doesn’t this blog look like the rest of the b5 blogs? Give it some time. In fact, this weekend should suffice. Aaron and I will be working over the next four days to move PBB off of my private hosting account and on to b5’s servers, outfitting it with a b5 blog template in the process. That means that there will be no new posts after 5pm Pacific time on Friday, October 13th. I’ll be turning off commenting temporarily while we transition. Posting will resume whenever the domain name servers pick up the switch, and the new site is live.

What’s going to change around here? NOTHING. This blog will remain entirely under my editorial control, and will retain its caustic voice. My hope is that the b5 deal exposes the work we all do here to a larger audience, introducing the abusive and negligent parents of the world to an even larger pool of shame and ridicule.

Hopefully, all the dust will have settled by the time you folks return on Monday. In the meantime, enjoy the Family and Relationships Carnival. And tell your kids you love ‘em, eh?
