Melinda Duckett Primary Suspect in Son’s Disappearance
On my other blog, I’ve come down hard on CNN personality Nancy Grace for grilling mother Melinda Duckett to the point that the woman took her own life. Duckett, as most of you know, is the mom who reported her son Trenton missing on August 27th. Had Duckett not offed herself, she might has confessed by this point, and let the world know what happened to her toddler. If Duckett did have something to do with this, then I would have considered herself free to commit suicide…after we knew where Trenton was.
And the evidence is piling up that, whatever happened, Duckett had a hand in it. The Leesburg, Florida Police officially named Melinda Duckett their prime suspect today. Among other evidence: a threatening email that Duckett claimed was from her estranged husband was actually sent by Melinda Duckett; her refusal to take a polygraph test; and, most disturbing the discovery of memorabilia in the trash, including her sonogram picture. That right there screams "guilty as hell" to ANY parent.
I know a lot of people were willing to consider this an inside job the moment Duckett pulled the trigger on her own head. I guess I was still willing to admit that a combination of grief and mental unbalance may have played a part in that. But now? It’ll take astounding evidence to convince me that this was anyone other than mom. What a tragedy.
Meanwhile, Trenton’s father, Josh Duckett, is sadly hoping that Melinda merely stashed the baby with someone. Dude…I so hope you’re right. I do.

I think its sad that the Leesburg Cops are nothing more than a bunch of back woods country bumkin yehaws that probably couldnt find their own assholes with a flashlight. Now that Mindy is dead, they can point the fingers. Take the easy way out and go back to hanging out at the local donut shop and hiding in the bush writing speeding tickets.
I read somewhere that that bitch Nancy Disgrace said there is no Hell. Boy I bnet she will be surprised when she gets there to find shell have her own corner. ALL of the worthelss Leesburg PIGS and Nancy Disgrace that drove Mindy to her own death should be charged with Murder!

I think that the person that wrote the blog missing mindy is stupid. How can you be so blind the stupid bitch threw all of her babies possesions out to the dumpster a true mother would never do such things. This dog only pretended to be a mother. I hope she rotts in hell. No one drove her to commit suicide the only thing that drove her there was her guilty concious.

I think they are looking in the wrong places for Trenton.
When there was a fight over custody, she sent emails to herself from the father’s account.
When something??? happens to Trenton, there is a cut in his screen and she reports him missing.
When she needs an alibi, she tells her attorney that she went to the forest (a great place for the LE to look for a body), then makes a meandering journey, and she makes calls to friends on a cell phone (most people know those can be tracked).
If Melinda did something to Trenton, he won’t be anywhere she admitted to being. I would suggest they should look in the area of somewhere that she would have thought that Joshua would be that day.

Everyone should be more focused on this little helpless boy and get him home to his father. Yes, everyone is entitled to thier opionions but Melinda is no longer the problem the missing boy is. Just get him home, its important to have closure of some kind rather it be good or bad.

Also, in reponse to ‘Marie Long’…I suggest you read a little more carefully…no where did it ever state that Melinda threw away ALL of Trent’s possessions. Many of the headlines in this case are playing on words so that you are led to believe Melinda is guilty. This is how they get ‘a good story’. Stop being so naive with what you read in the press!

I agree with Marie Long. Not only did that idiot bitch throw away memorabilia relating to her son, she also told her grandma before she committed suicide that Trenton is not coming home! How can a mother who’s son is missing be so cynical? Also why wouldn’t she take a polygraph or disclose information of her whereabouts before and on the day Trenton went missing? No one reported seeing her son that weekend. The last person he was with was melinda on Friday (8/25) and that bitch went to ocala nat. park with a shot gun for “target practice” too bad her son was the target. Now the police have cadaver dogs searching that area. I hope that Trenton is safe, because he is the only victim.

“Empty” Comments make me Crazy! Until proven otherwise, I believe Melinda was a victim too! I think law enforcement was involved and a least one person close to the case knows more than they are telling.
