Parents Behaving Badly

Dad Lets Baby Have Coke (Yeah, The Powdered Kind)

by admin on August 24th, 2006

Brandon Scott LewisCome on down, Brandon Scott Lewis! (No relation to Daniel Day, as far as I know.) You’re next in line for Worst Father of the Year award! The 22-year-old apparently thought it was a good idea to develop a cocaine habit. Additionally, he saw no problem with leaving the substance around where his none-month-old son, whom he left alone in the house, could dip into it. You wanna hear the punch line? Lewis and friends squandered valuable time destroying the remaining coke before taking the boy to the hospital. Because, after all, we must have our priorities straight in life. My son’s life…or several years in jail? Hm, tough call, gonna have to ponder that one…

Hell, dude, you could have just trafficked in stolen baby formula like everybody else does. It’s still mega-illegal, of course. But at least that way, if your kid got into it, he wouldn’t have ended up on life support.

(You’ll be happy to know that it looks like Lewis’ son will make a full recovery. Maybe if we all pitch in, we can buy the poor kid a new daddy for Christmas.)

They all seem like shining examples of humanity…idiots. And really, couldn’t you take the kid in, and leave your moron friends to “clean up”

    Off with his balls!

People dont just wake up and have coke habits. And when they realized they were going to be a parent they should have placed the habit behind them, “since drugs make people do crazy things’(and drug abuse or beign high should never be able to be used as an exscuse)it is so sad that something that doesnt get done about this until someone gets hurt , and usually that someone is the baby, and then the parent says they couldnt help it since they have a drug habit and they jsut couldnt help it.who gives a shit about the parents probelms, they are causing great pain to these children.I cant udnerstand why people cant make good or better choices then they do

It doesn’t look like this guy even TRIED to give up his habit. HELL his first thought wasn’t of this poor child that lay there dying, his first thought was to get rid of the rest of the coke so HE wouldn’t get in trouble.
Illegal drugs should make people sterile.

I never said it was easy, but any normal person would do what was needed to do, and try everything he could do, ask for help, commit to some type of plan to get free from drugs. it is possible, since many people out there have done it.This person is not capable of making good choices, weather or not he has a drug problem. And i think it’;s sad that when something like this happens these people use it as their defense.Which should not be the case, casue then they are given another chance to FUCK up, not only their lives but the life of their children, once more, and what if they dont get it right this time?

    Jessesgirl,

You’re right, it’s not an excuse. I personally have never been addicted to drugs, but I know people who are/have been. They don’t care about anything but getting their next fix. It’s sad and unfortunate, but very true.
