Grandfather guilty of molestation
A 57-year-old Sacramento man has brought a whole new meaning to “keeping it in the family.” When his daughter and son were 5 and 6 years old, he forced them to perform sexual acts on each other. Because you can only take the brother-sister thing so far, he decided to encourage their cousins to become involved in the activity as well.
When his daughter contacted authorities fifteen years ago, nothing was done. So the man must’ve assumed that, once he became a grandfather, he’d be able to continue his abuse with different, younger victims. His grandchildren, however, were a bit chatty about their new knowledge, and prosecutors put him in custody earlier this year.
The man has plead guilty and is facing more than 50 years in prison. His identity has not been revealed to protect his grandchildren. (The truly scary part? Imagining what he would’ve done if he’d taken any tips from Flowers in the Attic…)

Why in gods name was he not locked up 15 years ago when his daughter contacted authorities? This sort of thing just makes me sick, had something been done back then, his grandchildren could have been spared the abuse.
