Woody Allen On His “Paternal” Marriage to Soon Yi
Woody Allen tells Vanity Fair that his relationship with his wife, Soon-Yi, has a “more paternal feeling” to it. Well, duh. Considering Allen, is a million years older than Soon-Yi and that he once was in a longtime romantic relationship with Soon-Yi’s mother, Mia Farrow, (making him Soon-Yi’s STEPDADDY), I’d say that he should have PATERNAL feelings for the young Soon-Yi.
Try to forget the fact that he was screwing her mommy when she was still a kid or that he took naked polaroids of her when she was only 17, and you might just imagine that these two crazy lovebirds have it all figured out. Or, like me, you can vomit in your own mouth, everytime you see Woody Allen and Soon-Yi photographed together.
What still creeps me out after all this time, is that Allen married his lover’s adopted daughter and then adopted babies with Soon-Yi. Woody Allen calls their meeting and marriage “fortuitious”. Funny, others would call it “incestuous.” And me, I’m vomiting in my own mouth again.

Woody Allen’s incessant whining makes me sick even without the soon-yi shenanigans. top that off with the fact that he hasn’t made a good movie since. . .EVER, and you’ve got good grounds to exile the guy to the upper boundaries of Saskatchewan where no one will appreciate his brooding narcissism or horn-rimmed spectacles. woody allen: even more overrated than bob dylan.

you people should not be so critical of this couple just due to the unusual circumstances of how they met, if you ask me they are a better example than many celebrity couples who hook up and break up in a year, at least their still together. You may believe this is wrong but who is to say this, the “superior white culture!” This is not true for all cultures, some cultures believe it is fine for very young girls to make love at a younger age, and with much older men.
