Man Accused of Killing Wife, Daughter
A judge ruled today that most of the statements made by 35-year-old David Zacher to police and child protective services will be allowed at his trial. Zacher is charged with stabbing his wife and 4-year-old daugher to death. In addition, he’s charged with stabbing his two-year-old daughter, who survived the assault.
Defense attorney John Parrinello says that the prosecution has “no witnesses.” Well, John, that’s because whoever stabbed these three females did so in such a way that the two that could speak English in complete sentences died. I’m sure the one who survived can’t say much beyond “Dada” and “Elmo.”
Parrinello continues, “They’re going to bring in experts. The DNA is not going to show anything other than what you would expect that is that it came from the people that lived in the house.” Which sounds a whole lot like, “My client sang like a bird and there’s nothing I can do about it” to me.

How dare you try this man in the media and so flipantly? Talk to the first two policemen on the scene, and one will tell you the wife was lying face down with a knife in her back; the other will tell you the knife was in her chest. The surviving children can speak complete sentences. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU SIT IN HIGH AND MIGHTY JUDGEMENT!!!!!!! Remember what goes around comes around and perhaps someday you will be judged in the same off the cuff manner. Never say never…this guy is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

This man needs to rot in jail for the rest of his life. He admitted to these murders and now he is trying to weasel his way out of those comments. His children know what happened- regaurdless of age, watching your mother and your sister be slaughtered is replaying in that little girl’s head every time she closes her eyes to sleep at night. She will remember and she knows EVERYTHING that her daddy did to her family. It disgusts me that I shared meals with this man. If he can’t explain why he did it and he can’t tell you exactly what happened- who is to say he will not do it again? How can you prove he will never attack them again? She can tell you her daddy hurt her and her mommy- why isn’t what she says enough to pass judgment on this man? Where you there? She was. You are right what goes around will come around and what he has coming will never be enough to bring back Karelin and Halle.

This case is about to come to trial, because he insists on pleading not guilty (even though he called 911 himself and was found bloodcovered at the crime site (their home)….
This means family and friends of the murdered have to go through the agony of seeing and hearing day after day about the gruesome killings. I’m sure he and his sleazy lawyer are hoping for some kind of loophole so he can get out of responsibility for this.
And yes, I know people thought he was nice. So did his inlaws and the couple’s friends. Just don’t go near him around a knife set.
