Man Suspected of Killing Molestation Accuser
Katelind Caudill was a good friend. Her friend, now thirteen years old, told her that her stepfather had been molesting her for the past three years. So Katelind did what any good friend would do — she told the cops. And then she decided to talk to Melvin Keeling, the scuzzball himself.
Melvin could have played nice and have just shouted a few expletives at the girl before slamming the door in her face. Heck, he could’ve just skipped town. Instead, he bought back a gun he’d pawned and decided to shoot her while she was getting ready for school the next morning. And, because he figured he may as well get his money’s worth out of the gun, he killed two storeclerks in Indiana.
Well, at least the mother of the molested girl is cooperating with the police, which seems the least she can do considering what her bad taste in men has wreaked.
