Flowerpot Baby Mom May Get Light Sentence

by admin on September 12th, 2005

flowerpot.jpgThe courts have only identified her as Sabine H. She’s a German mom who didn’t quite raise her kids well. In fact, she didn’t raise them at all. Instead, she hid their nine bodies in the bottom of various flowerpots in her apartment. Well, she killed them, right? Whether by negligence or intent, nine kids just don’t spontaneously die over the course of ten years. And yet German prosecutors say that they may be able to get no more for these horrific crimes than two years behind bars. On nine counts. That’s approximately 2.7 months per child. Wow - who knew human life was so cheap in the Reich?

And a special Parents Behaving Badly bitchslap to Oliver H, who “fathered at least four of the dead babies but he has denied ever noticing that his wife was pregnant”. How convenient for him.

your link seems to be to a he said-she said custodial interference case.

Probably just as well - I didn’t need to read further about babies in flower pots.

Unbelievable. Germany seems like it’s advertising for serial murders to move there. I think it was that guy who cannibalized some other guy he met on the internet a few years ago that got just as light a sentence. I remember reading other examples. And we put kids away for life for selling drugs.

I finally read it. You failed to mention the fish tank. It added nothing to my day. Why is there such a rash of men who don’t notice a pregnancy? And, one more time, didn’t anyone at all notice?
