Kim Delaney Loses Son Due to Drunk Driving
Now this is just sad. NYPD Blue alum Kim Delaney has lost custody of her 15-year-old son for showing up at his friend’s house drunk and insisting she drive him home. Jack Cortese had to testify against his own mother in court, after which a judge ruled that Cortese continue to live with his father. Jack reportedly doesn’t want to have anything to do with his mom until she’s sobered up and is no longer “dangerous”. I feel sorry for Delaney, who’s been struggling with an alcohol problem for at least three years running. I would have felt a dam sight less sorry for her, however, had she wrapped her car around a utility pole and killed her child. Kudos to Jack for having the guts to stand up to adult stupidity.

That is just insane how can a mother do that to her child? If you want to kill yourself go do it but stay the heck off the streets if you have been drinking before you kill someone eles!
