Dad Arrested for Bank Hold-Up Note Prank on Daughter
Michael Lyons of Savannah, Georgia is a dumbass. There, I said it. Now all of Lyons’ friends and relations can come to this site and tell me what a wonderful person and father he is, and what a lousy sack of shit I am for dumping on the guy without knowing all of the facts, etc. Sorry, folks, but if you tell your daughter, as a “practical joke”, to take a note that says “This is a stick-up” to a bank teller, you’re practically begging to have your character impugned. And if you choose to do this on your daughter’s birthday? You deserve what you get - which, in Lyons’ case, is a charge of “criminal attempt of robbery by intimidation”. This must be the same guy who thinks it’s hilarious to boast about the bomb in his shoe while passing airport security. Too bad his 13-year-old daughter is past the age where she believes in Santa; she could have asked Saint Nicholas to help her daddy stop making an ass of himself for her Christmas wish.
