Deadbeat Dad Nabbed at Airport While Daughter Clings to Life
ORLANDO, Fla. — Detectives said it was one of the more blatant cases they’ve seen of a deadbeat dad. An Orlando man was not paying his child support while one of his kids was fighting for her life in a hospital.Investigators said they’d been waiting for the chance to handcuff 34-year-old Kevin Baginski and bring him to jail. The reason for the bust was child support. Baginski’s ex-wife said he has paid practically nothing over the past six years for the couple’s three children, including Caitlyn.
Caitlyn, their 8-year-old daughter, suffers from a brain tumor and has been undergoing chemotherapy and constant hospitalization. Her mother, Amber, has had to stop work to care for her.
He owes close to $30,000. Funny, that’s probably about what my dad owed me by the time I turned 18. My dad suffered from multiple sclerosis. What’s your excuse, bucko?

I would just like to say that I know Kevin personally, as well as all three of his children. And let me say that these accusations are entirely untrue! Kevin is a very tender, caring and loving father. And was in California because he plans to move there with his daughter Caitlyn so that the different universities can continue their research and treatment to provide a full recovery for her. Please remember a few crucial facts. 1. Fact, you don’t know Kevin. 2. Fact, 66% of every pay check he has ever received from the House of Blues has gone for child support. 3. Fact, he is currently in litigation with the arresting officer for releasing false information about the recent events. 4. Fact, in 1938 Germany, many believed everything the media (ie propaganda ) reported and posted to the masses, they later became Nazis. My point essentially is to stress the importance of research and retrieving both sides of the story.

Sharon, as a guy with a full-time job who runs three separate blogs, I don’t have the time to track down every subject of every news story. The original story appeared pretty damning, and nothing you printed above explainss why Kevin was so far behind in his payments. I know there are legitimate reasons why some dads fall behind in their support. What are Kevin’s?
If Kevin wants to contact me personally via email, I’d be happy to hear his side of the story. Alternatively, if you have a pointer to an article that gives Kevin’s side of this tale, I’ll run it.

Also, if Kevin has been railroaded as badly as you claim, I suggest he contact Glenn Sacks. I disagree with Sacks many times, but the fact is that Sacks is a tenacious bastard who will fight for a wrongly accused father. If Kevin is truly in the right here, he wants someone like Sacks in his corner.
