Dad Gets High, Breaks Baby’s Leg
A father high on cannabis broke his baby daughter’s leg because her crying woke him up, a court has heard.
Timothy Pugh was jailed for three years after admitting inflicting grievous bodily harm on his four-month-old daughter.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC said Pugh, 26, posed an “extreme risk” of severe injury” to any child alone with him.
Pugh, from Cardiff, initially claimed the baby caught her leg in her cot.
But doctors who examined her said the injuries were so severe they could not have been caused accidentally.
I imagine this had little or nothing to do with being high on THC. (I thought pot was supposed to make you lazy and apathetic? Can’t we stick to a single convincing line of propaganda, folks?) My guess is that Timothy Pugh is just an asshole. Let’s hope a long round in the pokey straightens him out.

Yeah, I though pot just made you mellow and hungry.
Unless of course it’s laced with PCP or something.

Only 3 years for a second offense? The first child was even younger. Wales is much too lenient. How can they enforce the no-contact rule? Wait until he kills an infant?
